Beyond the Classroom: Inspiring Innovation in Geneva

Curiosity, creativity and discovery were at the centre of two recent trips to the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, which took place last week. During the visit, Beau Soleil students explored how ideas can be transformed into real-world innovations.

The International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva brings together innovators from around the world to showcase new technologies and ideas, offering visitors a unique opportunity to see how creativity and scientific thinking can shape the future.

Exploring Innovation and Environmental Solutions

For Grade 11 students, the exhibition offered a fascinating glimpse into inventions from around the world. Many of the projects focused on environmental challenges, highlighting how creativity and scientific thinking can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Hands-On Creativity for Younger Students

Meanwhile, students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 took part in interactive workshops designed to spark imagination and hands-on experimentation. These sessions encouraged students to explore their own ideas, think creatively and discover the process behind innovation.

Throughout the visits, students participated with enthusiasm and represented Beau Soleil with pride, demonstrating curiosity, respect and engagement throughout the day.

Experiences like these reflect Beau Soleil’s commitment to learning beyond the classroom, where students are encouraged to explore, question and be inspired by the world around them.

To learn more about our academic programmes and how they combine academic excellence with real-world learning, we invite you to explore them in more detail here.
