Beau Soleil Welcomes 95 University Representatives from Around the World
On Friday, 2 October, Beau Soleil was delighted to welcome 95 university representatives from around the world for our University Fair, bringing an exciting range of future study opportunities directly to our students.
Students from Beau Soleil, together with students from four other local schools, had the opportunity to explore universities, courses and career pathways during a lively three-hour event. The room was buzzing with conversation as students asked thoughtful questions about admissions requirements, campus life, academic programmes and the career and postgraduate opportunities available after completing their degrees.
Our University Counselling team worked hard to bring together a diverse selection of institutions. Alongside universities in destinations already familiar to many of our students, the fair introduced them to new locations and possibilities they may not previously have considered.
The breadth of universities represented reflected the equally diverse ambitions of our students. Institutions attending included Bocconi University, IE University, EHL Hospitality Business School, Glion & Les Roches, University of Toronto, UBC, University of Hong Kong, NYU, University of Miami, King’s College London, University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester, Universidad de Navarra, American University of Paris, and Parsons Paris, The New School, among many others.
More than simply gathering information, the fair was about making connections and inspiring possibilities. It gave students the chance to speak directly with university representatives, discover new pathways and gain a clearer understanding of the preparation required for admission to highly selective institutions.
It was also an important opportunity for universities to discover Beau Soleil. Through their conversations, our students were able to demonstrate the academic curiosity, international outlook and personal qualities that make our school community so distinctive.
We are grateful to all the university representatives, visiting schools, students and colleagues who made the event such a success, and we look forward to welcoming universities back to Beau Soleil again in the future.
