From 17g to Industry Leader: What We Learned About Coffee Trading at Walter Matter
Ami and William, Heads of Development and Social Media at 17g, reflect on their internship at Walter Matter, a coffee and cacao trading company in Geneva. During their time, they gained insight into various departments such as sustainability, where they learned about geolocating farms to comply with EU environmental regulations, and trading, where they observed how global conflicts impact coffee prices. A highlight of their experience was participating in coffee cupping and roasting sessions, evaluating coffee quality for major clients. The internship broadened their understanding of the coffee industry and inspired them to apply similar practices at 17g.

With an impressive average score of 36.7, a highest score of 44/45, a 100% pass rate, and 49% of students earning a bilingual diploma, these results highlight the students' hard work and dedication.
