Deputy Housemistress - Ferrier

I arrived at Beau Soleil in 2017 as a Deputy Housemistress and teacher of PE. I began teaching at Shrewsbury School as Acting Head of Girls Games and soon embarked upon my pastoral career within boarding.

For the past 10 years my passion for teaching and boarding has led me to positions as teacher of PE and Sport, Deputy Housemistress, Co-curricular Coordinator and Housemistress at my previous school Queen Margaret’s.

Beau Soleil is an amazing school for its students and staff and is why I love being a part of it.  The challenges, skiing, weekend programme and expeditions to name but a few are what makes this an incredible place to be.

The biggest honour for me is being able to support and help shape the character, calibre, and future of each individual. Life in a boarding house is never dull, nor are any two days the same. It is like being a part of one big family; full of fun, enjoyment and knowing that there is always support available.

I love to be active, and my passions include running and cycling within the summer months and skiing in the winter. I have a golden retriever called Folly who equally enjoys Swiss life at Beau Soleil.
