Having loved boarding school myself and benefitted from a great relationship with my Houseparents, I was confident that an eventual career in a similar environment would suit me well. I left school and completed a BA in Hispanic Studies and an MFA in Fine Art, before spending ten months in South America, where I taught English, and then returned to England to throw myself into boarding.
I come to Beau Soleil from Uppingham School where I spent four years as a Deputy Housemaster and Head of Spanish, which allowed me to learn the pastoral ropes and enjoy coaching rugby, cricket and hockey. The incredible opportunities that the students have at Beau Soleil through the co-curricular program, expeditions and weekend activities make the school unique and exciting, and living in an alpine resort isn’t bad!
When not needed in house I can be found playing the guitar or putting a drawing together, enjoying the fresh mountain air, or attempting to keep some semblance of fitness.
