After graduating from the University of Warwick with a degree in History, Literature and Cultures of the Americas I moved to teach English as a Foreign Language voluntarily on the beautiful island of Guadeloupe. This experience confirmed my love for teaching and inspired me to pursue my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages in Birmingham. I then spent five years teaching in Nottingham where I loved my roles as Form Group Tutor, Spanish Teacher and Head of Spanish.
Now in my third year at Beau Soleil, where I have been lucky enough to work across both Tam and Ferrier, the wonderful students make each day varied and exciting. Not only are the surroundings stunning, but the opportunities that the Beau Soleil provides for students and staff are fantastic and unlike anywhere else in the world! In my pastoral role as a houseparent I love spending time with the students, getting to know them, ensuring they are happy and helping them to become independent young adults with an appreciation for every exciting opportunity presented to them.
