After graduating from the University of Warwick with a degree in History, Literature and Cultures of the Americas I decided to teach English as a Foreign Language voluntarily on the beautiful island of Guadeloupe. This experience confirmed my love for teaching and inspired me to pursue my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages in Birmingham. I then spent five years teaching in Nottingham where I held the roles of Form Group Tutor, Spanish Teacher and Head of Spanish.
I chose to move to Beau Soleil because, not only are the surroundings stunning, but the opportunities that the school provides for students and staff are fantastic and unlike anywhere else in the world!
Each day at Beau Soleil is varied and exciting. In my pastoral role as a houseparent I love spending time with the students, getting to know them, ensuring they are happy and helping them to become independent young adults with an appreciation for every exciting opportunity presented to them.
