As Deputy Housemaster and teacher of Humanities, I always work to develop pupils’ curiosity about their place in the world, encouraging them to play a full and transformative role in it. I am encouraged when I see young people we teach become advocates, leaders, and social entrepreneurs both at school and in their future careers.
I joined Beau Soleil in 2021, after eight years at Brighton College in the UK, where I was a Housemaster and leader of the school’s social and environmental action in the local community. Prior to teaching, I have nearly 15 years’ experience as a humanitarian aid worker, playing leading roles on the ground helping communities respond to disasters such as earthquakes, droughts, hurricanes, tsunamis and conflicts.
My experiences with young people all around the world have convinced me of the life-changing power of education. It’s exciting to be part of such a committed and inspiring team of educators here at Beau Soleil!
