2018
With an amazing 1 in 4 students obtaining a bilingual diploma and many students performing better than anticipated across a range of subjects, we could not be more proud of our truly diverse and international cohort. As a school, we are committed to promoting bilingualism and enabling students to study languages right through from beginner level to advanced: not only does it make our students more attractive to top universities, it also supports them in their future careers. From the cognitive skills harnessed by language learning, to the development of communication and the ability to interact, understand and empathise with different cultures, language learning is a cornerstone of a Beau Soleil education.
The IBDP is a challenging programme which requires hard work, critical thinking and a consistent effort over time and across disciplines. These skills combined with the lessons learnt outside the classroom, the strategies picked up on the sports pitches, and the resilience developed on the mountains are what really set our students apart. They are an extraordinary group who have accomplished some exceptional personal, academic and sporting successes throughout their Beau Soleil education. We know they will go on to achieve great things.
So, our warmest congratulations go to the class of 2018 as they move on to continue their education at some fantastic universities across the world. Destinations include University College London (UCL), HEC Montreal, Université de Lausanne, City University London, Northeastern University, IE University Madrid, Wake Forest University and the University of Exeter. We wish all of our students the best of luck as they embark on the next step of their journey.
