A choice of Diploma pathways develops our students’ knowledge, breadth of skills, and global mindset, helping them shape their own route to university and beyond.

At Beau Soleil, our 16 to 18-year-olds study for either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and/or the more careers-focused Advanced Studies Diploma.

Each Grade 11 and 12 student’s programme aligns with their interests, strengths, and university and career ambitions. Subjects and core programme elements are taught by specialist teachers, who also offer the expert support our learners need to manage the demands of their course.

Beyond the classroom, dedicated tutors provide personalised mentoring and coaching, which helps our students develop the skills and attributes valued by top universities and employers.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Respected by the world’s best universities, our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a demanding but rewarding two-year course. At Beau Soleil, we offer the Bilingual Diploma, as well as English and French options.

The broad and balanced IBDP sees our students excel in their chosen subject areas and enjoy exceptional opportunities beyond the curriculum. It develops confidence and creativity, as well as nurturing our students’ understanding of the world.

Students study six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and Creative Arts. Three of these subject groups are taken at a higher level and three at a standard level. Our IB learners also complete a core programme – Theory of Knowledge, an Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) – to achieve their full Diploma.

Advanced Studies Diploma Programme

Our Advanced Studies Diploma Programme prepares students for careers in business management, hospitality, technology, and other emerging industries. The Diploma consists of six core subjects, which are taken at either a higher or a standard level.

Our Advanced Studies Diploma Programme students also complete the Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) elements of the IBDP. The Diploma is open to everyone, either as a standalone course or in addition to the IBDP.
