Both in the curriculum and through our extensive after-school programme, our students pursue passions, compete, and keep fit.

Beau Soleil has a proud history of sporting success, and competitive golf, football, tennis, basketball, mountaineering, karting, mountain biking, volleyball, and swimming teams give current students the chance to showcase their talents.

Each squad is led by a professional coach, who prepares our gifted athletes for competitions in Switzerland and overseas.

Competitive leagues, our students participate in:

Mountain and Lakes Schools (MLS)

The MLS League, a favourite among our students, encompasses 10 international schools from the cantons of Vaud and Valais. It offers regular local sports fixtures, providing students the opportunity to compete across a wide array of sports. This league spans various age ranges, allowing for diverse and engaging competition against local international schools.

The Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS)

From football, basketball and volleyball to downhill mountain biking, golf and ski racing the SGIS facilitates a variety of sports fixtures that promote inter-school competitions. With over 50 international schools participating from across Switzerland, it’s a great way for our students to compete against other schools.

Nord Anglia Tournaments

A highlight in our competitive sports calendar is the European trips. These excursions offer students the unique experience of traveling and competing against other Nord Anglia Schools. Such events not only enrich their sporting abilities but also broaden their horizons through international exposure and cultural exchange, fostering a deeper sense of global community and sportsmanship.
