I joined Beau Soleil in 2022, with my partner Andrew Davidson, Deputy Housemaster in Deux Chalets. I have moved to Switzerland following 6 years of teaching in South West London. I graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Sport and Social Science followed by a Physical Education PGCE at the University of Exeter. I spent much of my 20s playing elite netball alongside studying and teaching and I am a huge ambassador for leading a healthy, active lifestyle.
Having grown up near the beach and countryside in Devon, England. It was time to leave London and take on the challenge of moving countries and teaching abroad. Switzerland has surpassed all my expectations and I am so excited to experience teaching and living in the mountains. I very much intend to throw myself into the Beau Soleil life and community. I love all sports and mountain activities and I look forward to being pushed outside of my comfort zone by embracing as many of the opportunities that the school offers and setting a good example to the pupils.
I am thrilled to be deputy housemistress of Beau Soleil Boys and I look forward to playing my part in helping to mould the pupils into well rounded, confident, and kind people who understand the potential that they have. I also want to create a safe space where pupils are able to make mistakes and learn from them throughout their journey. Alongside working as a deputy housemistress I will be teaching physical education at Beau Soleil. Teaching physical education remains a huge passion of mine as through my own experiences I have gained valuable life skills by being involved in team sports, such as leadership, communication and teamwork. I hope to embed these skills into the pupils in Beau Soleil Boys to ensure our community thrives.
