I believe that teaching is a privilege. It allows insight into the progress of a young adult and to humbly enhance their character, passion and fortitude.
After graduating with a degree in Sports Science at the University of Wales, Cardiff, I have taught Physical Education and Health for ten years in England and twenty years in New Zealand. Over this time, I have been a Head of Faculty, Head of House and a Dean. I strongly believe that academia and physical activity are essential in developing every student’s potential.
My aim as a house teacher is to maximise the opportunities that the students' have at Beau Soleil and help each individual to be the best they can be.
I enjoy running, hiking, skiing, mountain biking and cycling, all of which lend themselves to the beautiful surroundings of the Swiss Alps. I am also a keen and qualified rugby and football coach and I am happy to use these interests at Beau Soleil.
