Graduation is always an event full of a multitude of emotions. Graduating students are happy to celebrate together and to be part of their whole peer group one last time, full of excitement at what is to come as they start to think about university and beyond. There is a sense of achievement, of having reached the end of a particular journey in their lives, but also some sadness that they are saying goodbye, for now at least, to Beau Soleil and to friends who have been an important part of that journey over the last few years.
For parents, it’s a day of immense pride at all that their children have achieved but, sometimes, it’s also a day of realizing quite how much they have grown up and how ready they are for the next stage.

The Beau Soleil Graduation Ceremony itself is a whole community event full of laughter, music and shared reminiscences, including contributions from students and staff (past and present). This year, we were treated to a specially rewritten song performed by a staff choir and band as a parting gift for the graduating class.
We wish every success and happiness to the 60 graduates of the Class of 2022. Their path to this point has been a challenging one at times, framed by a global pandemic, but their resilience and lively good humour have made it a joy to work with them. Their graduation marked an important point in Beau Soleil history as they took their place as the 112th graduating class, a week after the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021. The Class of 2022 leaves a legacy of determination, energy and fun, and will be a tough act for the Class of 2023 to follow.
Good luck with all that lies ahead and please stay in touch!
