Creating Ambition

IB | High School Diploma

With a strong focus on internationalism and learning through collaboration, communication and creativity, our senior students follow the IB in English, French or a bilingual programme, or complete an American High School Diploma.

Being a Senior is an exciting and sometimes challenging period in students’ lives. The prospect of life beyond school is increasingly at the forefront of their minds, while at the same time the rigour and demands of their academic programmes require careful time management and forward planning.

Seniors are supported through this time by our experienced and caring team. Led by our University Guidance Counsellor, the academic team work closely with students to help them secure places at many of the world's best universities.

IB - International Baccalaureate

Highly respected internationally, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme strikes a balance between breadth and depth of study and is an excellent preparation for future university study.

IB candidates will be challenged across six subjects, followed in English, French or a combination of the two.  Learning is extended through three additional core components; CAS (creativity, action, service) ToK (theory of knowledge) and the extended essay. The combination ensures that learners are multi-lingual, multi-talented and have a global perspective - qualities needed in our globalized society.

High School Diploma Programme

Designed to prepare students for careers in business management, hospitality, technology and other emerging industries, the High School Diploma Programme combines study in core traditional subjects with three innovative challenges bringing real-world learning to their studies.

An Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) gives students the opportunity to extend and develop skills in independent research and project management and along with the Young Enterprise project and a period of work experience, HSD students leave equipped to take on new challenges in their university study and future careers.
