Veronique Bertrand-Bouffard

Directrice du Programme Francophone

My goal at Beau Soleil is to contribute my energy to ensure the French section continues to shine alongside the international section by supporting French teachers and pupils in their daily efforts to dare to reach the summits, literally and figuratively.  Reminding them at every moment, the famous phrase of Seneca: "It is not because things are difficult that we dare not venture.  It’s because we dare not venture that they are difficult! ".

Beau Soleil corresponds to my values and expectations both on the academic quality and the warm, caring and dynamic atmosphere you feel when you enter the school.

I hold a Master's Degree in French as a Foreign Language from the University of Rouen and a Master's Degree in Language Science and Engineering from the University of Franche Compté (CLA), I started my career as a teacher of French at the Alliance Française of London and then to CAREL of Royan, where I launched a multimedia project including an online test and distance training.

I followed this with a variety of teaching and management posts across the Middle East, Asia and throughout Europe before discovering Switzerland in my role as Directrice and founder of Aiden College in 2010.  I returned to France where I directed a large language school until the opportunity to join the team at Beau Soleil presented.
