Having started my career graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Coaching Sports Development, I then obtained QTS in Physical Education. I began teaching at Shrewsbury School as Acting Head of Girls Games and soon embarked upon my pastoral career within boarding.
For the past 8 years my passion for teaching and boarding has led me to positions as Head of Netball; Girls Games Teacher; Teacher of Geography and Assistant Housemistress. As Housemistress at Queen Margaret's School, I furthered my knowledge and enjoyment in the pastoral environment.
I love being part of a house team, the biggest honour for me is being able to support and help shape the character, caliber and future of each individual.
Life in a boarding house is never dull, nor are any two days the same. It is like being a part of one big family; full of fun, enjoyment and knowing that there is always support available.
In my spare time I love to be active and my passions include cycling, running, exploring and travelling; anything that is outdoor or fitness based. I also enjoy baking, an activity I love sharing with the boarding community.
