I joined Beau Soleil in September 2015. Prior to this I was Coordinator of Physical Education at a leading sports academy in education, based in South East London and responsible for the pastoral care of 220 students.
Being a house master at Beau Soleil gives me the unique opportunity to not only care for, but also influence a young persons development. I believe it is essential, to take on new experiences and challenges which take us outside of our comfort zone, to develop confidence, resilience and overall student development in their early adult years.
My primary role is Director of Sport and Physical Education at Beau Soleil. I graduated from Bangor University, Wales, where I specialised in sport science and education and have also gained the national professional qualification in leadership. I am a strong believer that we can always improve in what we do and therefore I am currently undertaking the Nord Anglia Senior Leadership Program. I am responsible for the whole school ethos and approach to sport and healthy living as part of the physical education programme. My focus is on innovation, enjoyment and education through physical activity using creative education methods, to develop independent thinking pupils. I bring experience and creativity to the role from my time in the UK education system, with the addition of international representations in alpine skiing and coaching.
