A Ceremony Rich in Emotion

It was another beautiful Graduation Ceremony, rich in emotion which took place at Beau Soleil on Saturday 24th June.  In front of their families and special guests including Mr Jérôme de Meyer, the schools previous director, who addressed the graduating students encouraging them to continue to use the values they learned at Beau Soleil.  To the sound of the music from the Fanfare of Ollon-Les Plans, the winners of special awards were presented before the graduating class of 2017 was called to the stage.

Dressed in their caps and gowns students from the International and French sections received their diplomas – a moment charged with emotion for both the graduates and their families alike.  The final two honours were bestowed on members of the graduating class, through the Principals and Prefects award.  Awarded to the student who, always gives their best, acts with responsibility and respect and who best represents the values and of the school, the Principals prize was awarded to Valentine R.  As the prefect who showed outstanding leadership throughout their tenure, Regina R was awarded the prefects prize.

With the bells of Villars chiming in the background, the ceremony finished with the students following tradition and throwing their caps into the air. Celebrations continued with a spectacular buffet on the school terrace enjoyed by all.
